How do I apply to become a Sidekick?

Information on the Sidekicker application process

If you are looking for casual work in Australia or New Zealand, you have come to the right place! We have hundreds of opportunities available across multiple industries and are always looking for new talent to join our community.

To apply to become a Sidekick and access all of the awesome work we have available, follow the four steps below.

Step 1: Create an Account

Visit this page to create an account using your name and contact details. 


Step 2: Submit your application (No resume required!)

  • Select which areas of work you are interested in. We recommend selecting the area you have the most experience in, and if successful, you can apply for other areas later on.

  • Tell us about your work experience. We'd love to get to know the kinds of roles you've previously worked in, and how many months experience you have.

    Once you submit your application you will be notified of the outcome instantly!

  • If your application was unsuccessful, check out this article to see why that might be.

  • If your application was successful, you can continue with our interview process

Step 3: Complete your interview session

  • You will be prompted to complete a one-way interview via Vervoe for the work category you chose in your application. Before starting your interview, you'll be given further details about what it will involve and what you may need to prepare.

  • We recommend having your documentation ready, so you can complete your Sidekicker profile as soon as your interview is assessed.

  • Your one-way interview will be assessed by our team in about 7-10 business days.

What next?

That's it, your job is done! Once your account has been activated by our team, you will be notified via email. At this point, you can download the Sidekicker app and start applying for work!
