Working with older Australians can be a rewarding and meaningful employment path.

As the population continues to age, there are a growing number of real career opportunities for people who have the talent, professional background and skills to provide positive assistance to older persons who may need additional support.

For each occupation, there are specific certificates required, which we will outline below. However, regardless of occupation, we require all Sidekicks to have:

  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Current National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • VPD Evidence Certification Form
  • Hand Hygiene
  • Manual Handling
  • Fire Safety

If you’re missing any of these certificates, we may be able to assist. We can offer free courses in everything except your National Police Check and Working with Childrens Check, which you will need to arrange yourself.
