Your Income Statement is a financial statement that outlines your;
earnings for the financial year-to-date
the amount withheld for tax purposes
super amounts you have been paid.
Your Income Statement is the equivalent of a Payment Summary (previously referred to as a Group Certificate).
How can I access my Income Statement?
Sidekicker operates through Single Touch Payroll (STP) in Australia, meaning that you will not receive your Income Statement from us. However, you can access your Income Statement via your myGov account by following these steps:
Log in to your myGov account
Select ATO in the 'Your Services' section
Click on the 'Employment' drop-down and select Income Statements
If you do not have a myGov account, you can retrieve your Income Statement by contacting the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) on 13 28 61.
Some other important notes:
If your summary is not immediately available at the end of the financial year, it will be because we are still processing this. Rest assured, you will receive an email when it is available.
If you use a registered tax agent to lodge your income tax return, your agent will receive your income statement information directly from the ATO.
If you do not have a myGov account and don't use a registered agent, you can retrieve your Income Statement by contacting the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) on 13 28 61, or you can view more information about accessing your Income Statement here.
Still have questions? Although Sidekicker cannot provide specific information regarding your tax or Income Statement, if you do have any concerns or issues please reach out to us via the blue chat bubble on Sidekicker.
