The NSW Government has announced that effective from 19th September, 2021, authorised workers living in an LGA of concern will only be permitted to leave their LGA for work if they have received their first vaccination dose.

What does this mean for upcoming work?

If you are living in an LGA of concern and are travelling outside of your LGA for authorised work, you will need to carry proof of your first vaccine dose in order to comply with Government guidelines.

Sidekicker has therefore made it possible for all Sidekicks to upload their vaccination record directly to their profile under the Certificates section.

At this stage, we can only accept a Medicare record of your Immunisation History Statement as proof of your COVID-19 vaccination. This can be downloaded from your Medicare online account through myGov, or via the Medicare Mobile App.

How can I upload my vaccination record to my profile?

Follow the below steps:

  1. Log on via our desktop site and navigate to your profile

  2. Click 'Edit profile' then scroll down the page to the Certificates section

  3. If you have received one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, upload your document under the 'COVID-19 Partial Vaccination Record - Dose 1' certificate field

  4. If you have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, upload your document under the 'COVID-19 Full Vaccination Record - Dose 2' certificate field

Alternatively, respond to this email with your document attached and we'll take care of the rest!

Do I need to upload proof of my vaccine if I don't live in an LGA of concern?

As this situation is rapidly changing, with new LGAs continuing to be identified as areas of concern, we recommend anyone who has received one or more doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to upload proof of this to their Sidekicker profile.

How can I book my vaccination appointment?

NSW Health is currently offering priority bookings for authorised workers and priority Pfizer bookings for  people aged 16-39 across the impacted LGA’s.

Workers can also book their vaccines through the Australian Department of Health eligibility checker or by calling the National Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 020 080.
