Where can I get proof of my COVID-19 vaccination?

Certsy will accept PDF files of either your:

  • COVID-19 digital certificate, or

  • Immunisation history statement

What if I am unable to access the documents online/don't have Medicare?

If you are unable to access proof of your COVID-19 vaccination online, your vaccination provider can print your immunisation history statement for you.

If you’re not eligible for Medicare, you can still get proof using the Individual Healthcare Identifiers service (IHI service) through myGov.

Alternatively, you can call the Australian Immunisation Register and ask them to send your statement to you via post, but note this can take up to 14 days.

How do I upload proof of my COVID-19 vaccination to my profile?

Log in to Sidekicker on a desktop site and navigate to your profile. Once here, click on 'Edit Profile', then scroll down the page to the 'Certificates' section until you find these certificate fields:

  • COVID-19 Partial Vaccination Record - Dose 1 (via Certsy)

  • COVID-19 Full Vaccination Record - Dose 2 (via Certsy)

Depending on the number of doses you have received, click on the relevant certificate field and you will automatically be redirected to Certsy where you will be prompted to provide an email address - please ensure this is the email associated with your Sidekicker account.

Follow the prompts to upload proof of your COVID-19 vaccination and once complete, remember to 'Connect & share' the results with Sidekicker.

How long does it take for Certsy to verify my document?

Once you have shared the results with Sidekicker, this should reflect on your Sidekicker profile within 24 hours.

If you have any issues verifying your COVID-19 vaccination document through Certsy, or if you have a medical exemption, you can send your document directly to support@sidekicker.com.au and we'll take care of the rest.
