If you are looking to add more categories to your Sidekicker account, you can complete an online assessment for the categories you are interested in.

All we need you to do is record a few answers to some questions to show that you've got the right skills, experience and attitude to be a great Sidekick.

If you're in Australia:

What is a virtual assessment?

The virtual assessments offered through Sidekicker are done via our third-party provider, Vervoe. This allows you to complete your assessment from the comfort of your home at whatever time suits you - how cool is that?

The assessment will include a series of questions about your skills and experience, allowing you to record your responses to each question. The best part is you can make a start on your virtual interview then stop and come back to it at a later time, giving you full flexibility to work it in around your schedule.

Does the assessment have a deadline?

Yes. Upon commencing your assessment, you will have 7 days before it expires. If you running out of time, simply 'request an extension' and the team will open it back up for you soon!

Can I submit an assessment for more than one role?

Yes! If you have the required experience for more than one role, you may complete multiple assessments.
Please read the assessment information carefully and ensure you have the required experience to avoid disappointment.

How do I prepare for my virtual assessment?

When you book your virtual assessment you will receive an email with all of the information you need to prepare for the session. This includes details on what to wear, and what to have ready on the day.

You should have the following details ready for your assessment session:

  • Hospitality: 5 dinner plates and cutlery

  • Manual Labour/Warehousing: a box or object weighing approx. 20kg

  • Healthcare: Your qualification(s), vaccination history and a police check

What do I wear to my virtual assessment?

What you wear to your assessment will depend on the industry you selected when registering as a Sidekick. If you are interested in hospitality or warehousing, please wear your industry uniform. You can find information on what to wear by clicking here. If you are interested in another industry, any other requirements will be listed in your confirmation email.

When will I hear back with an outcome?

Virtual assessments are reviewed within 7-10 business days. If you are successful, you should see your new category added to your account within this timeframe. If you don't hear back after 10 business days, unfortunately, that means you have not been successful.
